This post is the first in a series in which we’ll show more details about the titles of the project.

We’ll reveal more informations about the stories, along with more concept sheets and other exclusive arts, commented by the authors. As always, space for commenting is open :)

Pra começar, uma sinopse de Justiça Sideral, juntamente com o esboço da primeira página.

Justiça Sideral/Sinopse:

Neste primeiro volume somos apresentados a ELITE. Esquadrão de Legisperícia, Investigação e Tática Especiais. Uma agência anti-crime especializada nos mais variados casos. No planeta Sansara, mais especificamente na cidade de Irish Wörth a lei é cumprida graças aos esforços de agentes altamente treinados.

To start, a synopsis of Sidereal Justice, along with the drafts of the first page.

Sidereal Justice / Synopsis:

In this first volume we are presented to the ELITE: Squad of Legislative Expertise, Research and Special Tactics. An anti-crime agency specialized in the most different cases. In the Sansara Planet , specifically in the city of Irish Wörth, the law is fulfilled thanks to the efforts of highly trained agents.

Na trama as agentes Anisha T. Seubert e Eileen Haas pegam um caso de roubo de informações, onde supostamente alguém roubou dados de um laboratório de desenvolvimento tecnológico. Mas no decorrer das investigações elas se deparam com uma série de evidências que apontam para algo muito maior do que elas imaginam.

In the plot, agents Anisha T. Seubert and Eileen Haas take a case of theft of information, in which someone supposedly stole data from a technology development lab. But during the investigations they are faced with a number of evidences that point to something much bigger than they imagine.

Vivendo e aprendendo a jogar / Living and learning how to play the game

Ufa! Enfim um tempo pra postar. O cansaço tem sido grande esses dias. O trabalho é muito e o tempo pouco. Seria bom se o dia tivesse pelo menos umas horas a mais, hehe.

Whew! Had some time to post, at last. The past few days have been quite strenuous. Lots of work to do and not much time to spare. Wouldn't it be nice if the day was a little bit longer? hehe.

Mas não tem, e por isso, são freqüêntes as noites mal dormidas, por conta de questões mal resolvidas do projeto que teimam em ficar martelando na mente. É o desenhista que ficou doente. O colorista em período de provas na faculdade. A página que não foi aprovada e voltou para mais uma revisão. A reunião de planejamento do site que foi pouco proveitosa por que a internet caía a todo momento.

But it isn't, and that's why bad nights are so common. Because of all these unresolved matters about the project. It's the penciller who got sick. The colourist who's on exams period over at his university. It's the page that wasn't aproved and now's back for another revision. It's the site's planning meeting that wasn't of much use because the connection stopped working frequently.

São coisas que você tem que estar preparado para gerenciar da melhor maneira possível, de modo que não prejudique a produção, os membros do projeto, e a si mesmo. O pior é que nem sempre estamos, e lá se vão noites e mais noites contando carneirinhos. Mas aquilo que não te mata, te fortalece. E com esse pensamento seguimos em frente, cada dia mais próximo da vitória.

These are things for which one must be prepared to handle in the best possible way, in order not to harm the production, the members of the project and oneself. The worse thing about it is that we're not always prepared, so there goes more nights of bad sleeping. But that that don't kill us can only make us stronger. And it's with that thought in our heads that we move on, getting closer to the victory day by day.

Simplesmente Jack / Just Jack

Eis um nome que vira e mexe, é ouvido no mundo da cultura pop. A lista é extensa. Temos Jack Bauer (24 horas), Jack Shepard (Lost), Jack Dawson (Titanic), Jack Sparrow (Piratas do Caribe), Jack Skellington (O estranho mundo de Jack), Jack o Estripador... Temos até um Canguru Jack. Isso sem falar é claro do fantástico Jack Chan em uma dezena de papéis homônimos.

Here is a name that’s frequently heard in the world of pop culture. The list is extensive. There’s Jack Bauer (24), Jack Shepard (Lost), Jack Dawson (Titanic) Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean), Jack Skellington (The Nightmare Before Christmas), Jack the Ripper ... There’s even a Kangaroo Jack. Not to mention, of course, the fantastic Jackie Chan, in a dozen roles homonyms.

Daí vocês, leitores, se perguntam, "Onde é que esse cara quer chegar com essa lista sem propósito?" Simples galera. É que acaba de surgir mais um "Jack".

Hence you, readers, might ask yourselves "what does this guy want with this meaningless list?". It’s simple, fellas. Another “Jack” has just came alive.

Trata-se de Jack, o Elfo. Ele é o herói da Hq "Jack contra o Reino". Mais uma história criada especialmente para o Hqs e Afins, pela mente criativa de Zé Wellington. O traço é de Sílvio DB e as cores de Night 02.

This is Jack the Elf. He is the hero of the "Jack against Kingdom" comic. It’s another story created especially for the HQs e Afins, by the creative mind of Zé Wellington. The pencils are from Sílvio DB with colors by Night 02.

Enquanto isso nos bastidores... / Meanwhile behind the scenes...

Salve gente!!

O projeto segue num bom ritmo, e acredito que em meados de agosto, no máximo no início de setembro, o material já deva estar no ar.

Howdy, folks!

The project is progressing smoothly, and I believe it should be up online between mid-August to early September.

Algumas histórias já estão praticamente prontas, faltando apenas retoques, para assim concluirmos tudo. Estou muito satisfeito com as páginas, que estão num nível bem bacana, e espero que vocês também gostem, pois todos estão fazendo o seu melhor.

Some stories are nearly done, with only some finishing touches missing. I am very pleased with the pages, as they look pretty nice, and I hope you also like, because everyone is doing their best.

Mais estudos... Estes são da história "Filhos de Shäkti", com roteiros de minha autoria e a bela arte de Herder Honório. As cores ficam por conta do talentoso Miguel Marques. Vocês podem conferir mais do trabalho dele aqui. No mais é isso... Até a próxima :)

HeHe, o título é besta mas apropriado... Enfim o HQS e AFINS está no ar. Quer dizer, quase isso. Este não é o site oficial ainda, mas sim, um espaço alternativo, onde postaremos estudos e outros detalhes do projeto que virá em breve... Assim, mantemos a galera antenada do que está rolando enquanto o pricipal não sai do forno.

HeHe, it’s a silly but appropriate title... Comics and Related are finally online. I mean, sort of. This is not the official site yet, but an alternative space where we will post studies and other details about the soon to come project ... That way, we’ll keep everyone up of what is going on while the main stuff is not out of the oven.
