Olá pessoal, essa é uma das capas já finalizadas, como diz no títula é da Justiça Sideral. Bom, nela tentei dar um aspecto meio Noir.. ( apesar da história ser futurista), mas explico no próximo post no passo-a-passo que vou fazer.

TEASER - TESTE / TEASER TEST
Salve Gente! Mais um post. Como comentado em um post passado, estamos produzindo um teaser do projeto pra por no you tube e outros sites semelhantes. Infelizmente não foi possível aprontá-lo a tempo para o Animation File (Nossas sinceras desculpas, Roberto). Alguns problemas atrasaram o nosso lado.
Hi everybody! Another post. As mentioned in a past post, we are producing a teaser of the project to put on you tube and other similar sites. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible to make it in time for the Animation File (Our sincere apologies, Roberto). Some problems delayed us.
Sem o prazo nos pressionando, ficamos mais soltos pra testar algumas opções, em cima das idéias que tínhamos pra o trailer. Estaremos postando alguns desses testes aqui no blog, assim como explicando todo processo, referências, etc.
Without the being pressed by deadlines, we feel looser to test some options, upon the ideas we had for the trailer. We will be posting some of these tests here on the blog, as well as explaining the whole process, references, etc..
Pra este primeiro teste, usamos o personagem Balo da Hq Justiça Sideral. A idéia era fazer uma simulação do personagem sendo desenhado, sendo no final substituído pela arte original em cores do Rodrigo Windt (Rod”).
Forthis first test, we used Balo, a character from the Sidereal Justice HQ. The idea was to make a simulation of the character being drawn, and by the end replaced by the original art in color, by Rodrigo Windt (Rod).
O PROCESSO:
A primeira idéia era fazer com que a personagem fosse desenhada como um “speed paint”, mas esse modo não foi muito feliz, por ser um bocado mais demorado, e não podia ter erros durante a captura... Então a segunda opção foi usar o After Effects que tem um efeito pronto disso. Como base foi usado o trailer do jogo Street Fighter 4 e a intro do jogo Comix Zone onde as personagens/logo são desenhadas e depois coloridas.
THE PROCESS:
The first idea was to make the character being drawn as in a speed paint, but this method wasn’t very successful, as it was a lot longer, and we couldn’t have any error during the capture ... So the second option was to use After Effects , as it has a proper effect for doing this. As a basis, we the Street Fighter 4 trailer and the intro of the Comix Zone game, in which the characters / logo are drawn and then colored.
Como fundo musical usamos um trecho de “Sobre Prisões e guerras da Banda Sobre o Fim, que também será usado no teaser finalizado, cujo o vocalista é o nosso amigo Zé Wellington, também conhecido como o roteirista de Jack contra o Reino :p
As background music, we used an excerpt from "Sobre prisões e guerras”, by the ‘Sobre o Fim’ band, which is also used in the final teaser. Their singer is our friend Zé Wellington, also known as the screenwriter of Jack against the Kingdom: p

Reta final / Final Steps
Depois de um tempo sem postar, voltamos a atividade aqui no blog.
After a while without posting, we return to our activities here at the blog.
Temos algumas questões em desenvolvimento. 3 revistas foram concluídas por esses dias. Aguardem a prévia muito em breve. Nesse meio tempo seguem os preparativos no que diz respeito ao site, sua programação e design.
We have some things being developed. 3 of our comics were completed during the past days. Wait for some sneak peaks very soon. In the meantime, we're moving on with site's design, programming and preparations.
Outra novidade é o desenvolvimento de um teaser trailer do projeto que esperamos exibir no ANIMATION FILE, evento promovido pelo nosso parceiro Roberto Jales. Guardem bem este nome pois ouvirão ele em posts futuros.

Mais Um / More One
No último post, comentei brevemente sobre alguns sites que noticiaram sobre o projeto. Logo após isso, saiu mais uma nota, dessa vez no site Homem Nerd.
In the last post, I briefly mentioned some sites that reported about the project. Soon after that, there came another note, this time on the 'Homem Nerd' website.
Estamos felizes com a receptividade, mas é só o começo.Manteremos os pés no chão e a seriedade, pois ainda não comquistamos o nosso objetivo principal, que é ver o site no funcionando com os patrocínios e tudo mais. E pra isso acontecer, ainda falta um bocado de trabalho.
We are pleased with the reception, but this is only the beginning. We'll keep working serious and with our heads cool, as we haven't yet reached our main objective, which is to see the site working with sponsorhips and everything else. For that to happen, there is still a lot of work to do.
No mais é isso. Aguardem grandes novidades em breve. Neste post vemos a protagonista da série Off, Marilyn Moore, no traço do sempre competente Icaro alves.

Sempre em Frente / Always Forward
Aos poucos o projeto vai avançando, conquistando seu espaço. As vezes lentamente, as vezes em um ritmo mais satisfatório... De um modo ou de outro, o importante é que tudo continue caminhando. É claro que estaria mentindo se dissesse que não bate uma ansiedade vez ou outra, Hehe... Mas nada que prejudique.
Gradually, the project progresses, conquering its space. Sometimes slowly, sometimes at a satisfactory pace ... One way or another, the important thing is that everything keeps moving. Of course, I'd be lying if I said I don’t become anxious one time or another, Hehe ... But nothing detrimental.
Cada passo a frente é uma nova vitória. Mais uma página finalizada. Uma nota sobre o projeto divulgada em um site de notícias¹. Tudo isso nos dá a certeza de que estamos no caminho certo e de que devemos manter o foco pois a maior vitória nos espera mais a frente.

Arte de Capa – Filhos de Shäkti / Cover Art - Children of Shäkti
Olá pessoal, hoje vou mostrar uma das capas que estou fazendo, por enquanto vamos mostrar somente no traço, mas ela já ta pronta.

Essa é a capa da Hq “Filhos de Shäkti”, que o Deyvison já apresentou no post anterior. Fazer essa capa foi interessante, pois fugi do estilo que faço habitualmente de traço a lápis misturado com cor digital porque a idéia da capa era simular pinturas indígenas em pedra.
This is the cover of the "Childre of Shäkti" comic, which Deyvison has already presented in the previous post. Making this cover was interesting, because I stepped away from the penciling style mixed with digital color I usually use because the idea for the cover was to simulate Indian paintings in stones.
Já tinha recebido antes um sketch com uma idéia geral do que deveria ser a capa, daí foi só discussão até chegar na idéia final.
I had already received a sketch with a general idea of how the cover should look like, so we only needed to discuss until we got to the final idea.
Toda a composição foi feita de maneira que todos os elementos levem o olhar para a mandala no centro da imagem, ou o inverso de dentro pra fora. Como referencia usei elementos astecas e maias paras as máscaras, decorações e as cores geralmente bem vivas.
The whole composition was made so that all the elements lead the eye to the mandala in the center of the image, or vice versa inside out. I used Mayan and Aztec references for the masks and decorations, mainly with vivid colors.
Pra desenhar usei caneta Tombow que lembra bastante pincel.
Bom, acho que é isso, até a próxima capa.
I used a Tombow pen for the drawing process, as it resembles paintbrushes quite well.

A hq é uma fantasia, passada em uma terra primitiva, chamada Ita'h. Uma terra de mistérios, há muito esquecida pelos deuses...
Children of Shäkti / Synopsis
The comic is a fantasy , set in a primitive earth, called Ita'h. A land of mystery, long forgotten by the gods...
É então que conhecemos a história de G'uin. Guerreiro do clã dos amaleks, que em sua sede de poder busca um pacto com Urka, um deus ancestral amaldiçoado pelos outros de sua raça. Tal pacto desencadeia uma série de eventos que nos levará a uma guerra sem prescedentes.
It is then that we know the story of G'uin. Warrior from the amaleks’ clan, in his thirst for power, he sought a pact with Urka, an ancestral god damned by others of its race. This pact sets off a chain of events that will take us to a war with never seen before proportions.
O Bem e o Mal estarão frente a frente, e será difícil identificá-los.
Good and evil will be face to face, identifying them one from each other won’t be easy.

Mais um post da série Raio x. Desta vez, saberemos mais um pouco sobre a série OFF. E para isso, ninguém melhor do Icaro Alves, o artista e roteirista por trás da história.
Another post in the X Ray series. This time, we'll learn a little about the OFF series. And for that, no one better than Icaro Alves, the artist and writer behind the story.
Off/Sinopse:
"Houve um período na evolução humana em que uma falha espiritual dividiu os humanos em duas raças: os normais e os sensitivos.
Os humanos normais podem ser como você ou eu, mas os sensitivos carregam consigo uma maldição, ou seria uma benção? Essas pessoas são sensitivas e podem ver, se comunicar e até ser incorporada por espíritos ou... Demônios.
Off / Synopsis:
"There was a period in human evolution in which a spiritual failure divided humans in two races: the normal and sensitive.
Humans can be normal as you and me, but the sensitive bear a curse… Or is it a blessing? They are sensitive and can see, communicate and incorporate spirits or ... Demons.
Durante a série, acompanharemos a trajetória de Marilyn Moore que, assim como milhões de outras pessoas, possui a falha espiritual. Logotipo Hqs e Afins / “Comics and Related” Logo
Olá pessoal!
Meu nome é Wagner e estou ajudando o Deyvison ( o idealizador do site) com a parte visual do site e também e estou produzindo as capas das histórias.
Como perceberam, fizemos alterações no visual do blog que antes estava bem cru além de estar sem um logotipo(apenas um provisório).

My name is Wagner and I am helping Deyvison (the creator of the website) with the visual part of the site, while I’m also doing covers for the stories.
As you’ve probably noticed, we’ve changed our blog’s look, as it looked quite raw before, and it didn’t have a logo either (just a temporary one).
Agora está tudo certinho, depois de vários dias de conversas via MSN entre o Deyvison, Herder e eu sobre o site e o próprio blog, comecei a rascunhar algumas idéias de logotipo:

Then, I decided to keep the red and tighten the borders and also put the details of light with colors that didn’t compete with the red, like white and yellow, so sand colors looked good.
And the final version looks like this:

"What would happen is a fantastic world filled with dragons, elves and mages evolved and found technology? Jack is an elf. An elf carrying a baby in his back and with a mission: defeating the tyranny of a kingdom dominated by the dark magic and technological powers of Optimus.
Para isso ele contará com a ajuda de um grupo nada convencional: um mercenário meio-orc, uma anã lésbica viciada, um mago desacreditado e um hacker mirim superdotado.
In order to do so, he will have the help of a rather unconventional group: a half-Orc mercenary, a junkie lesbian dwarf, a discredited wizard and a young hacker genius.

Neste primeiro volume somos apresentados a ELITE. Esquadrão de Legisperícia, Investigação e Tática Especiais. Uma agência anti-crime especializada nos mais variados casos. No planeta Sansara, mais especificamente na cidade de Irish Wörth a lei é cumprida graças aos esforços de agentes altamente treinados.

Sidereal Justice / Synopsis:
In this first volume we are presented to the ELITE: Squad of Legislative Expertise, Research and Special Tactics. An anti-crime agency specialized in the most different cases. In the Sansara Planet , specifically in the city of Irish Wörth, the law is fulfilled thanks to the efforts of highly trained agents.
Na trama as agentes Anisha T. Seubert e Eileen Haas pegam um caso de roubo de informações, onde supostamente alguém roubou dados de um laboratório de desenvolvimento tecnológico. Mas no decorrer das investigações elas se deparam com uma série de evidências que apontam para algo muito maior do que elas imaginam.
In the plot, agents Anisha T. Seubert and Eileen Haas take a case of theft of information, in which someone supposedly stole data from a technology development lab. But during the investigations they are faced with a number of evidences that point to something much bigger than they imagine.

Vivendo e aprendendo a jogar / Living and learning how to play the game
Ufa! Enfim um tempo pra postar. O cansaço tem sido grande esses dias. O trabalho é muito e o tempo pouco. Seria bom se o dia tivesse pelo menos umas horas a mais, hehe.
Whew! Had some time to post, at last. The past few days have been quite strenuous. Lots of work to do and not much time to spare. Wouldn't it be nice if the day was a little bit longer? hehe.
Mas não tem, e por isso, são freqüêntes as noites mal dormidas, por conta de questões mal resolvidas do projeto que teimam em ficar martelando na mente. É o desenhista que ficou doente. O colorista em período de provas na faculdade. A página que não foi aprovada e voltou para mais uma revisão. A reunião de planejamento do site que foi pouco proveitosa por que a internet caía a todo momento.
But it isn't, and that's why bad nights are so common. Because of all these unresolved matters about the project. It's the penciller who got sick. The colourist who's on exams period over at his university. It's the page that wasn't aproved and now's back for another revision. It's the site's planning meeting that wasn't of much use because the connection stopped working frequently.
São coisas que você tem que estar preparado para gerenciar da melhor maneira possível, de modo que não prejudique a produção, os membros do projeto, e a si mesmo. O pior é que nem sempre estamos, e lá se vão noites e mais noites contando carneirinhos. Mas aquilo que não te mata, te fortalece. E com esse pensamento seguimos em frente, cada dia mais próximo da vitória.
These are things for which one must be prepared to handle in the best possible way, in order not to harm the production, the members of the project and oneself. The worse thing about it is that we're not always prepared, so there goes more nights of bad sleeping. But that that don't kill us can only make us stronger. And it's with that thought in our heads that we move on, getting closer to the victory day by day.

Simplesmente Jack / Just Jack
Eis um nome que vira e mexe, é ouvido no mundo da cultura pop. A lista é extensa. Temos Jack Bauer (24 horas), Jack Shepard (Lost), Jack Dawson (Titanic), Jack Sparrow (Piratas do Caribe), Jack Skellington (O estranho mundo de Jack), Jack o Estripador... Temos até um Canguru Jack. Isso sem falar é claro do fantástico Jack Chan em uma dezena de papéis homônimos.
Here is a name that’s frequently heard in the world of pop culture. The list is extensive. There’s Jack Bauer (24), Jack Shepard (Lost), Jack Dawson (Titanic) Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean), Jack Skellington (The Nightmare Before Christmas), Jack the Ripper ... Enquanto isso nos bastidores... / Meanwhile behind the scenes...
Salve gente!!
O projeto segue num bom ritmo, e acredito que em meados de agosto, no máximo no início de setembro, o material já deva estar no ar.
Howdy, folks!
The project is progressing smoothly, and I believe it should be up online between mid-August to early September.
Algumas histórias já estão praticamente prontas, faltando apenas retoques, para assim concluirmos tudo. Estou muito satisfeito com as páginas, que estão num nível bem bacana, e espero que vocês também gostem, pois todos estão fazendo o seu melhor.
Some stories are nearly done, with only some finishing touches missing. I am very pleased with the pages, as they look pretty nice, and I hope you also like, because everyone is doing their best.
Mais estudos... Estes são da história "Filhos de Shäkti", com roteiros de minha autoria e a bela arte de Herder Honório. As cores ficam por conta do talentoso Miguel Marques. Vocês podem conferir mais do trabalho dele aqui. No mais é isso... Até a próxima :)

Algumas histórias já estão praticamente prontas, faltando apenas retoques, para assim concluirmos tudo. Estou muito satisfeito com as páginas, que estão num nível bem bacana, e espero que vocês também gostem, pois todos estão fazendo o seu melhor.
Some stories are nearly done, with only some finishing touches missing. I am very pleased with the pages, as they look pretty nice, and I hope you also like, because everyone is doing their best.

AVANT PREMIÈRE
HeHe, o título é besta mas apropriado... Enfim o HQS e AFINS está no ar. Quer dizer, quase isso. Este não é o site oficial ainda, mas sim, um espaço alternativo, onde postaremos estudos e outros detalhes do projeto que virá em breve... Assim, mantemos a galera antenada do que está rolando enquanto o pricipal não sai do forno.
